All parks that are used for Football in the Canterbury District are under the jurisdiction of local councils. These local councils can close parks at their own discretion in adverse weather conditions. If the park is closed by the local council, the club is not authorised to conduct any sporting activity on the grounds.
There will be cases where the park will be closed for training as late as 4pm on an afternoon. This is out of the club’s control; however, our coaches and managers will always do their best to communicate this information to parents as early as possible.
